Set against an expansive southern Utah landscape in 1998, Ty reveals the very moment a 12 year old boy decides to plunge into manhood by defying the only society he has ever known, experiencing a glimpse of the “real world” for the first time.

Ty is Fox and Leopard’s first self-funded short film and is produced entirely by females.

The story takes place in the late 90’s in Southern Utah against the backdrop of both the beautiful red rock mountains and the FLDS church — exposing the dark underbelly of Warren Jeff’s authoritarian religious regime.

The film is a deeply personal project for Meagan Judkins, the producer, writer, and creative director behind “TY.” Meagan and her brother, Ty Judkins, fleshed out the broad story for TY before Ty’s passing in 2016. In 2018, Meagan enlisted the help of writer Kris Kidd to polish up both the short – and now feature length script.

The feature length script is primed and ready for development.
